Every unsold estimate gets a call back.
Escloser puts a trained caller on your open estimates, on a set cadence, starting the hour the quote goes out. The yeses get booked into your FSM. Every no gets a reason. Not another reminder email.
A real person calls each open quote back, not just an automated text that the customer swipes away.
The first call goes out the same business hour the estimate is sent, while the visit is still fresh.
Logged with a reason: price, a lower bid, financing, timing, or a repair instead of a replacement.
A call list that never forgets a quote
Your FSM already sends reminder emails. What it doesn't do is pick up the phone. Escloser pulls every open estimate, puts it on a set cadence, and makes sure each one gets a person on the line until it's a yes or a logged no.
Panel upgrade. Said she wants to talk to her husband. He's home after 5.
Tankless. Asked about monthly payments on the first call.
Repipe quote sent 25 minutes ago by Luis. First call due within the hour.
- Call within 1 business hour. Confirm the estimate arrived, answer the first question.
- Call + text. Check on the decision maker, offer financing if it came up.
- Call. Offer the next two open install slots.
- Call. Ask directly: is anything stopping you from going ahead?
- Last call. Close the estimate as won or lost, with a reason.
- Calls as your shop, by your company name
- Uses the estimator's notes from the visit
- Technical questions go back to your estimator as a task
Know why they said no
An unsold estimate usually just fades out of the FSM. Escloser asks every customer who says no what decided it, and rolls the answers up so you can fix the quote, the price book or the pitch.
6 of 27 said financing. Only 2 of those were offered a payment plan at the visit.
5 of Luis's 8 losses were "never explained the options". Worth a ride-along.
Replacements are the biggest tickets and the slowest yeses. Most of them get a second bid.
Example data. Escloser measures this from your own estimates, not industry averages.
A trained caller, not another login
On Managed, the same Escloser caller works your estimates every week. Yeses land on your schedule in the FSM, and only the questions they can't answer come back to you.
- Called 6 estimates that hit Day 2 overnight
- Booked EST-4119 into Thursday's install slot
- Sent Brennan the 18-month financing link from your notes
- Logged EST-4108 as lost to a lower bid, with the gap
Asks if a 3-ton unit would do instead of 3.5. That's a question for Marcus.
Will sign today for $3,100. Your call on the discount.
- EST-4119 marked approved, job created for Thu 8am
- Note added: "Customer chose the 2-stage option"
- EST-4108 closed as lost · reason: lower bid (−$1,100)
- Call recordings attached to both estimates
Where the estimates go quiet in your trade
Same story in every shop: the estimate goes out, the next call comes in, and nobody has time to call the last customer back.
HVAC
System replacements the customer is pricing against two other shops.
Replacement quotes, called by Day 2 →Plumbing
Repipes and tankless upgrades that wait on a spouse or a payment plan.
Financing questions answered →Electrical
Panel upgrades and EV chargers quoted on a service call and then forgotten.
Upsell quotes followed up →Garage door
New-door quotes that lose to whoever calls back first.
First call within the hour →Painting
Interior and exterior bids that slide while the crew is on another job.
Bids closed out with a reason →Roofing
Replacement bids that sit until the next storm sends the customer elsewhere.
Lost-to-competitor tracking →What owners say about unsold estimates
"I just move on, I can't paint everything."
"The estimate side is where most guys lose the most time."
Unsold-estimate follow-up is listed as a KPI the hire is measured on.
Wanted: a sales VA to follow up on estimates. About $700 a month.
Call back within 30 minutes, then follow up on Day 2, 4, 6 and 7.
"Free-estimate tourists" waste estimate visits.

Works with the tools you already pay for
Keep your FSM and its reminder emails. Escloser reads your open estimates and writes the outcome of every call back to them.
Less than the VA you'd hire to chase them
Month-to-month on every plan. No setup fee, no early-termination fee. On Managed, most of what you pay depends on estimates that actually close.
Software
Your office makes the calls. Escloser tells them who to call, when, and what to log.
- Daily call list from your open estimates
- Day 0 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 14 cadence
- Call scripts by job type
- Why-lost log and monthly report
- Up to 2 callers

Questions owners ask
Straight answers on price, the 3% and what our callers say to your customers.
What is Escloser?
Escloser is unsold-estimate follow-up for home-service shops on ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro or Workiz. A trained caller phones every open estimate on a set cadence (the same day, then days 2, 4, 7 and 14), books the customers who say yes back into your FSM, and logs the reason for every yes and no. It is a person making calls, not another automated reminder.
How much does Escloser cost?
Software is $149 a month, and your own office makes the calls. Managed is $350 a month plus 3% of any estimate that closes within 30 days of our call, capped at $250 per job, and a Escloser caller makes the calls. Full desk, which adds inbound and missed-call coverage, is custom-priced. Every plan is month-to-month with no setup fee and no early-termination fee.
How does the 3% on Managed work?
You pay 3% of the invoice on an estimate only if the customer signs within 30 days after a Escloser caller spoke with them, and never more than $250 per job. A $6,400 change-out that closes after our call adds $192. Estimates the customer approved before we called, and work they book with you months later, are not charged. Each charge is listed on the monthly statement with the estimate number and call date.
Doesn't ServiceTitan or Jobber already follow up on estimates?
They send automated reminders: emails and texts that nudge the customer about an open quote. They do not pick up the phone, answer the question that is holding the customer back, or record why the customer said no. Escloser adds the human call on top of the reminders you already have.
Is Escloser cheaper than hiring a sales VA?
Usually. Job posts from 2025 list a sales VA for estimate follow-up at about $700 a month and an estimator/lead converter at about $400 a month, and you still hire, train and manage that person. Escloser Managed is $350 a month plus a capped 3% on estimates that close after our call, and the caller arrives already trained on a cadence and script.
How much does estimate follow-up raise close rates?
There is no reliable public number. One operator on YouTube claims a 22% close rate without follow-up against 38% with a structured cadence, and 46% when the follow-up came within 60 minutes against 11% after 72 hours. Those figures are one person's claim and are unverified. Escloser reports your own close rate before and after, from your FSM data.
What do your callers say on the phone?
They call as your shop, by your company name, from a local number. They confirm the customer got the estimate, answer scheduling and financing questions from your notes, offer to book the job, and ask why if the answer is no. Anything technical, like a different equipment option, goes back to your comfort advisor or estimator as a callback task.
Can I start today?
Escloser is onboarding a limited number of shops each week and is at capacity right now. Pick a plan and leave your email, and we will contact you when your spot opens. You are not charged when you sign up.
Stop letting estimates go quiet
Connect your FSM. Every open estimate gets a call on a set cadence, and every no comes back with a reason.
Month-to-month. Reads your estimates to start. Nothing is booked or closed in your FSM until you say so.
